It’ll take at least 45 mins by the time you’ve fought your way through all the half and half scarf sellers. All part of “enhancing” the matchday experience!

No because there’s no where to park.

for evening shows? of course you will see people just park up.

Loads just park up and have people in the cars near the academy stadium.

Near the MEN Arena, loads just park up and move off if a inspector shows up

I always walk these days and I enjoy it. If you know the canal route and the back way into the station it is only 25 minutes but it is very difficult at night for those with limited mobility. I think Merril street/Pollard street should be restricted to buses, taxis or trams after the match and a shuttle bus service should operate back to town.

That stop is two thirds of the way along towards the Etihad. I walk past it on Pollard Street, Merrill and Ashton New Road.

I don’t know if the club will be getting any revenue from the Coop Live Arena. That’s always been questionable and has been discussed on here at length, without an answer, if my memory of the discussion is correct?

The CFG is the equal joint venture partner and investor in Co-op Live, not Manchester City Football Club, even though the club comes under the CFG umbrella. The club might divert the money theoughout the CFG or straight into Sheikh Mansour’s empty bank account. ;-)

Harry Styles will get some of the money as he is also part of the partnership, albeit it with a minority stake, whatever that is?

Yes so where is this walking route they are talking about ?

From Gt Ancoats Street, along Merrill Street then it splits depending on where in the stadium you want to go, Ashton New Road for the south end, Citylink for the north end.

It's the footpaths and roads that thousands of people usually take. Its nothing new as far as I can tell.
