The lad is absolute top notch, it’s only a matter of time before the goals start flowing again but he’s still doing an incredible job for the team. His running off the ball, his pressing and defensive work rate combined with his willingness to play left wing or probably centre half if needed shows he is a humble lad who wants to learn and long may it continue.

100% agree. Top post.

Our game / method of play has progressed and no longer black and white, might seem like a stupid comment but our strikers aren’t judged on goal scoring anymore, it’s what they bring to the team, the movement, the link up play, the pressing, the runs, the versatility to do a job for the team and Jesus is case and point for this. Says a lot about the lads confidence to roll that penalty in after missing one against spurs and also the “goal drought” he’s apparently on

There are obviously many attributes needed for (and paths to) success but one of the biggest is grit: keeping on keeping on regardless of the challenges.

This is his biggest strength (along with his humility), beyond his obvious talent at such a young age, and we benefit greatly from it on and off the pitch. Long may it last.

Pep: "Gabriel Jesus didn’t play (against Bournemouth). He had 120 minutes at Leicester. He is the best fighter at high pressing I have ever seen. He helped us a lot with his high intensity."

I think he will start tomorrow, hopefully he will score and have fantastic game.

When was the last time he scored winning goal ?
