Got a feeling though, that Pep extending his contract (or not) will have a direct influence on Gabi’s decision. And that may well go for several other players. If you want to actually improve your game to the best of your potential, Pep is the best teacher in the business. Probably an overreaction on my part. Certainly, even.
It’s just that, more than for any other player in this current team (and yes, that includes even Kev) it would break my heart to lose this player. I’m sure you’re right. It just isn’t going to happen.

Real Madrid always cherry pick the best players from a World Cup, and they go into it with a team that needs renewal, and a galactico that has seen better days. Not ideal situation, but not far away. Jesus may not seem ready to walk into Ronaldo's shoes, but the World Cup is a perfect stage. Everything suggests he'll take his opportunity

Do you seriously think we can ignore his claim particularly if he has a good WC going into the new season and still expect to get the best out of him. Sadly the modern footballer of today does not take any contract they sign seriously unless it is to their own advantage.
