Gareth Bale

It just goes to show, the mental health in this country is worse than we feared.

Bale is an unbelievable player, a top-ten worldy in terms of the direct impact he can have in a single game.

No idea if this is just fanciful talk but, as some others have suggested, if Mbappe has chosen Madrid and we don't think Sanchez will happen, it's an absolute no-brainer.

He can play wide left but played down the middle, only Ronaldo comes close to that form of power.

Injuries such a shame but perhaps we would be okay with that baring in mind all the other talents we have to accommodate.

Put it this way, as things stand currently, from a commercial aspect, he is on a different planet to Sanchez and Mbappe?

Still remember that pic of Bale and Soriano together at an NYCFC event.

He would be crazy to leave Madrid for England, his family in Wales are scrotes.

Ah yes, blame it on mental health when someone doesn't share the same opinion as you. That makes complete sense.

Folk have short memories and forget how far we have come.

We are at the top table with the biggest and best clubs in the world linked for the best talent out there.

Some of the comments on here just beggar belief.

'Regardless of his injuries' how does that work exactly?

So because he's had a couple of injury struck seasons you just write him off as if he's had his legs amputated? There is zero reason to suggest he can't become injury free. And when he is he's one of the best attackers on the planet

His injury record is a concern but when you've got, Aguero.Jesus,Sane and Sterling to rely on, his injuries aren't as much of an issue. He's a machine and would be excellent for us, he can score plenty, storm past a few players to create openings and rifle it in from 25/30 yards, exactly the something a little bit different we need from an extra forward. He could also play as a potential wing back option much better than we've had Sane try out in pre-season, but as i said with Sane, it limits them. There's also the bonus of him being homegrown and would actually allow us to bring in another player if money permits. Anybody that would say no to him is mental, he's one of the top 5 players in the world, You don't say no to that. Always saw him as a rag player though. Would also need it written into his contract that he has to have a haircut.

The thing with Bale is that he's the ultimate Premier League player.

Strong, fast, powerful. Good in the air as well as with his feet.

Great at free kicks, great at corners.

I'd have him here in a heartbeat as he'd pretty much assure us of total domination in domestic competition.

You can't use the word mental.
