Opposition parties could combine and vote against thus making her look a weak leader in charge of a party she can't manage then call for a vote of confidence after the GE vote tomorrow. Highly unlikely but were it to happen would be one of the most exciting days in Parliament

It's about clearing out the remainers so she can go full hard in the negotiations. It's the right move but it will help Labour in the long term as they will be shot of Corbyn a lot sooner than they thought.

If thats her aim then as a Remainer herself she should resign as party leader and PM
