What's this Jamaican ginger cake all about? I've been to Jamaica a few times and I've never seen it or heard it mentioned.
Is it one of those things like, English muffins and steak Canadian.

I'm the same with Soreen.

My late wife was a childminder, and made a mean malt loaf, not to be confused with that crap called Soreen.
She took on a new child, and her mum asked if she liked Soreen. Normally, she would have said that she would't touch it with a bargepole, but instead asked why? Turns out her dad owned the company!
