How good were Pink Floyd?

I love Pink Floyd and i love The Smiths, what does that make me?! I also call it a muffin.

Floyd and Smiths are both in that small and elite group of untouchable bands in my view.

After he left it wasn't for me anymore

I only got into them in the early 90s so I missed the Maine Road gig, which I'm gutted about. I did see them at Earls Court in 1994 though.

Was it the Earls Court gig that some scaffolding collapsed? Me mam and dad went the Maine Rd gig, wish i'd of got to see them live.

I was at both those gigs; thankfully not where the temporary seating collapsed.

Waited 25 years to see the Waters The Wall tour, worth the wait as it was the best gig I` ve ever seen on so many levels.

Pink Floyd are my undisputed best band and will remain so for life.

Emerson Lake and Palmer early stuff for me.
Loved their mix of classical,jazz plus pioneering synthesiser work by Emerson.
Not everyone's cup of tea I know but I liked them. Sad two of them are now passed away.

Saw that tour at Wembley, cracking gig. Waters has done some great solo albums,
