Huddersfield v City post match

Tbf, Pep has given Kelechi several opportunies. He did actually play him at Old Trafford. I'm sure if he'd done really well in most games he's started, he'd have played regularly. He was often 'so so' & has been taken out of the firing line for a bit. Standard procedure with young players.

I will be pissed off greatly if Pep doesn't include more youngsters during his tenure, but for a manager in his first season, I have no complaints really apart from Garcia.

But if we'd gone 3 up yesterday, I recon it's nailed on Garcia would have got on. Lack of home draws v 'easy' teams & League Cup run ending is the key imo.

but if he'd not decided that KDB, Sterling & Sane were somehow incapable of staying fit and beating both Huddersfield & Monaco in the same week with a 12 day break after, then we could have either started Garcia instead of Delph anyway or been 2/3-0 to bring him on.

He made the rod for his own back, Chelsea & Spurs have shown what to do regardless of the schedule, which is actually nice. It really backfired on Pep yesterday.

Chelsea got away with it though. They could easily be out, maybe should be.

I don't want to see kids at places like Huddersfield tbh & I don't mind Delph etc getting a chance.

I hope he changes it a bit for the home game.

Got to Huddersfield for about 11. It was like being back into the 80s. Pre match was told by Police we were only allowed in two pubs. Sorry but i aint being forced to go anywhere. Escorted to the ground boxed in by the police was again over the top. Why i am a football fan then automatically low life? After the game on approaching the station was a bit of back in the day with a few skirmishes. All i would say is thank you Huddersfield for your hospitality !

WYP in Huddersfield have said that City fans were the most lawless they've had in town since we last played there 17 years ago.

Not so much outright violence but just breaking all the laws, throughly pissed up,obstructive & disagreeable. One pub on St. Peter's St robbed & trashed

Takes two to tango Mick.

It certainly does and can only comment on my experiance

Alright chaps, the hangover is tarting to clear now so thought you might appreciate some word from the other side.

First off, I though that was a great FA Cup match. The quality and threat in your side was there for all to see, but we fought like terriers throughout - none more so than Dean Whitehead, my MOTM. If our plan was to limit your options around the final ball then we did that superbly, hence why there a lot of happy Town fans today.

We also didn't just defend, that's not our style. The offside goal was unfortunate, but it wasn't our only chance. Likewise Hudson's clearance off our line in the first half - yeah it was a 0-0 but there was a fair amount of action!

I'll admit that I was very tempted to put a bet on you absolutely crushing us when I saw the team selections - I had come on here a couple of days ago eulogising about our team and yet none of them were playing - however, I should have learned by now to just trust Herr Wagner. There were a lot of players int hat side yesterday that aren't first choice starters, but are going to be critical to us achieving success over the next couple of months. I can't describe how proud I am that they, to a man, stepped up. Craine (right back), Whitehead (CM) and Coleman (GK) especially.

How are you feeling about the replay? It's actually pretty ideal for us - bumps a league game to later in the season and gives us more time for Jonny Hogg to get fit again for the run-in.

Decent tie, bitty performance from City, fair result.

Replay....who knows ? we're City after all, that's why we keep going .....you just never know what's goina ' appn.

Seen handbags at 6 paces outside the nationwide bank near wether spoons just young kids more of a nuisense than proper agro

WYP say they were engaged in incidents of anti social behaviour involving Manchester City fans until the early hours of Sunday morning.....it's a very good boozing town, udders.

If we win the replay,it'll be interesting if we get Millwall at home !!

Probably the case but only 'cos MANUre get L1 and L2 opposition or else WYP would be pointing the finger elsewhere. Don't Leeds play Huddersfield these days, and Millwall? I think this WYP shite is more from the Rag-based agenda!

Or away could see a few heads out for that one going back to Huddersfield was talking to a few of their old school yesterday after the match who have or had been on banning orders think the boozers called the Wellington just near the station, anyhow they were saying they'd be a handful of naughty ones coming to Manchester for the replay so should be lively on the night.
