Hughes WILL get time at Manchester City

City are the only club who can afford to go down, so with us the risk is far less.

If we go down we get rid of a few glory boys, get more matches and some probably some new grounds to visit.

With the money we would not be down for long, there is nothing to worry about.

It is very unlikely we will go down anyway.

The players out there are largely not top 6 Premiership players, and the few that are are struggling with their form eg Richards. You can pin all the blame on Hughes, but that's easy and wrong imo. Richards for example has been hurt by the loss of his England place, and all of a sudden critics are questioning his whole game. He's a young player whose career has stopped going forwards for the first time.

Other players may worry that they have a future at City. Ball, Dunne, Hamann, Benjani, Vassell and others have been written off

it's the fault of Hughes AND the players - the question is how do we get rid of this ridiculous position?

Most now favour getting rid of Hughes while some think he needs more time and some new players - there's never going to be agreement (unless we lose the next 3 games! which i rather hope we won't)
