Hughes WILL get time at Manchester City

City are the only club who can afford to go down, so with us the risk is far less.

If we go down we get rid of a few glory boys, get more matches and some probably some new grounds to visit.

With the money we would not be down for long, there is nothing to worry about.

It is very unlikely we will go down anyway.

Congratulations!

The most ridiculous post I have read since joining these forums.

"It doesn't matter if we go down because we get to visit some different grounds"?

Effing unbelievable.

Why stop at the Championship? We've been there. Or Div1? Why not try Div2?

Aldershot Town away - doesn't it make you salivate! Bring it on I say, relegation is the way forward.

Hughes has HAD time, his style of football isn't us and he has caused unrest throughout the dressing room, hes an idiot and he's making a laughing stock out of city once again, he's had his time, get fucking rid, he hasn't a clue

Hughes should get time to improve the squad.

The players out there are largely not top 6 Premiership players

Agreed. But they aren't bottom 3 players either, are they. So whose fault is it that we are in the bottom 3, if not the players? Do you need a hint?

Can't understand why, £80 million spent in summer should be enough of a reason to sack him

You would be no loss.

The players out there are largely not top 6 Premiership players, and the few that are are struggling with their form eg Richards. You can pin all the blame on Hughes, but that's easy and wrong imo. Richards for example has been hurt by the loss of his England place, and all of a sudden critics are questioning his whole game. He's a young player whose career has stopped going forwards for the first time.

Other players may worry that they have a future at City. Ball, Dunne, Hamann, Benjani, Vassell and others have been written off

So everyone elses fault apart from the Manager? interesting.
Lets not have a manager and see how it goes, it could work....

it's the fault of Hughes AND the players - the question is how do we get rid of this ridiculous position?

Most now favour getting rid of Hughes while some think he needs more time and some new players - there's never going to be agreement (unless we lose the next 3 games! which i rather hope we won't)

Guess that sums it up, over and out

Love how everyone says Hughes will just bring in poor "Blackburn rejects" when Hughes' signings this season have been our best players in a Pearce/Sven team.
