I think you’re massively underestimating just how good this kid is. With his head screwed on properly he could easily be a world class winger in 3 or 4 years.

Hope he can screw his head on and benefit the national team. As far as interest from a City perspective is concerned. he's nothing to us now but an opponent/rival.

He wasn't right for us, and we were not right for him. I suspect he'll go the Zaha route, and mature late in his career into a fine Premiership winger. Will no doubt engineer a move to Spurs/Arsenal once he's done at Dortmund. Over the discipline stuff now, we move on, so does he. The end.

You're making it sound like he's 20 or 21 and already had a taste of senior football.

He's SEVENTEEN.

His peak years are 10 years away.

If he looks so fearless and can show moments of class in his first two games in a foreign league then it's scary how good he can be with time. The kid might act a diva but when you've been told you're the best for most of your life and when he's just finished school it's bound to go to your head. He has ample time to mature but the talent is in abundance.
