He would try to push for that!! I think he'd be happy with 30m a season stadium rights. Im pretty sure you have the best deal in the league so far but pretty sure its around 25m? Correct me of im wrong!

Our AIA shirt sponsor brings in 16m a season and ends in 2019. Compare that to Chevrolet giving United around 55m a season we need to be hitting around that

Think it Was 10 years 400m for stadium shirt and campus sponsor

Spurs are currently caught between a rock and a hard place.

They have performed outstanding over the past two seasons and IMO been the best side in the country over that period. However, they have fuck all to show for it and the obvious way to address the problem will have a huge impact on their finances.

In a similar manner to us, Spurs lack that winning mentality to drag them over the line. Addressing that issue does not come cheap and whilst we are looking to add the likes of Alves, Sanchez and Mendy (all players with league titles to their CV) to the already signed Silva and Ederson (League winners), they are after the likes of Barkley.

It is going to be extremely difficult for Spurs to sign the calibre of players needed to kick them onto the next level without boosting the wages of Kane, Walker and Erikson in the process.

The Semi-Final of the FA cup really highlighted the short-comings of some of the teams in the PL. Spurs' mentality was badly exposed by an under-strength Chelsea side who just know how to get over the edge. Us against Arsenal was a game of two sides who lack any sort of ruthlessness and was ultimately dominated by Yaya and Sanchez. Unfortunately for us, Sanchez came out on top that day.

You can hardly blame Walker for wanted to come to a side who are efficiently eradicating their issues and offering a higher wage, rather than stay at a club who seem to lack that ambition.

Awful post. You criticise Spurs for lacking the "ambition" to compete with the fabulous wealth of City, Chelsea and United.

How quickly we forget.

True. You can't fault them really. They haven't had the budget to compete with us, and they've finished above us twice largely by developing players bought from lower league clubs with some shrewd purchases along the way (and the odd cock up when they actually do try and spend large amounts of money). But it's worth mentioning that they've also had to be pretty patient with some of them and it's questionable whether a Spurs challenging for the title would have had the patience to make a young Danny Rose or Kyle Walker their first choice and allow them to develop into two of the league's best full backs.

Dele Alli, £5m from MK Dons
Trippier, £3.5m from Burnley
Danny Rose, £1m from Leeds
Kyles Walker and Naughton, £9m from Sheffield Utd
Eric Dyer, £4m from Sporting
Kane, homegrown.

Say what you want, being able to challenge for the title with five regular English starters costing a combined total of £14.5m is impressive. But it'll be interesting to see how willing they are to give young English players a chance now they've transformed themselves into title challengers. If they lose Walker, it'll be interesting to see whether they'll stick with Trippier (not that he's particularly young) and maybe look to the lower leagues again for an understudy, or whether they'll spend their money on a big money RB from overseas.

Good deal so hopefully we can get close to it!
That's not really that much when you think about it, that's £40million per year for all 3, £20m of that is for the shirt leaving £20million for stadium naming rights and the training complex. The rags get £47million per year from the shirt sponsor(Chevrolet) alone then £15m per year for the training ground and kits(AON). Chelsea get £40m per year for their shirts alone(Yokohama) and £10m per year for the training kits(Caraboa). Arsenal get £30m per year for their shirts and training kits, not sure about stadium naming rights but if that's included too then it's obviously better to split the sponsorship up as you get more. Kit makers also pay a lot more to some clubs than others. I think City could be getting a lot more than they do considering the amount of time they've been in the top 4, PL winners, semi final of the CL all in recent years, that's why it annoys me when rag cretins talk of "getting around FFP" if anything Etihad are getting a pretty good deal(which is fair I guess).

One thing negative about possible signing of Walker it seems that Walker is not interested in working with Pep or playing for ambitious club like Man City. It seems only thing he interested is double his wages. Sterling case was different. He did not have hope in Liverpool project under Rogers. Alexis Sanchez same he wants to reunute with Pep his signing also not money driven. But i have real doubts about Walker.
