Can I start this? Couldn't see it anywhere else and it seems about time!

Some news from Ewood caught my eye, which should be good for us...?

http://www.rovers.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10303~1748335,00.html

Defensive stalwarts Chris Samba and Ryan Nelsen along with forward Paul Gallagher all limped out through injury early on in a match that Rovers eventually lost 2-0.

Oh dear! Unless BFS is playing mind games with us? Eh? Oh!

My team for Saturday

----------------Given----------------

Zab-------Toure-----Onuoha-----Bridge

----------De Jong-----Barry-----------

SWP-----------Ireland(c)-------Robinho

--------------Adebayor---------------

Prediction: 3-0 to City

Agreed line up except when is Robbie coming back from Brazil, I heard it was on Friday, if Tevez puts in a good week I can see him or Bellars starting or at least coming on for him at some stage.

Team i think will choose:

given

richards toure dunne bridge

de jong barry

swp ireland bellamy

adebayor

bench: taylor, ben-haim, garrido, zabba, petrov, robinho, tevez

team i would choose:

given

zabba dunne toure bridge

swp ireland de jong barry petrov

adebayor

bench: taylor, richards, onouha, garrido, bellamy, robinho, tevez

score: 2-1 city (zabba 8', pedersen 38', barry 72' [pen])

Not sure about Robinho, but can't see the club allowing him to be delayed because of waiting for a scheduled flight, can you? Not bad having Bellers and Tevez as back up though eh?

wonder what team blackburn would put out??

If Nelsen or Samba is out, they're going to play the Georgian guy, Khavinashvili or however you spell it or Givet. They're both pretty shit.

In fact, Blackburn's whole team is pretty shit. Warnock is pretty good, Pedersen is pretty good, but other then that, they haven't got much. Not much threat up front, but I guess Benni McCarthy is pretty decent and has a good goal scoring record.

We're stronger in every position and should win comfortably. That being said, we'll probably lose.

Got a spooky feeling I will be a little unsteady on my feet by the time I get to the ground!
