I think Rico said (roughly) “We don’t want any injuries, so he came off”

Definitely didn’t sound like it was a big issue, and made me think Gvardiol will be fit for the next game.

The half time sub of Gvardiol for Akanji worked well.

Gvardiol’s yellow card was extremely harsh, considering Douglas Luiz didn’t get a second yellow for a worse foul on Foden in midweek

We were crap for 20 mins after our goal in the first half I thought

Relieved to see it out comfortably in the second half
