Past Players Pep would have loved to have had from our past

Which players from the past would Pep love to have had...or to put it another way, which players do you think would have fitted into his system.
I can only remember as far back as the 80's but there are some obvious ones

Tevez - forget his off the field histrionics....his work rate and goal scoring i reckon would make him a shoe in for a Pep team

SWP - think Pep could have turned him into a world class player....they type of player Pep likes, Skilful, quick worked hard for the team and an eye for goal

Kinky and Ali B - both hugely creative players in the mould of David Silva......however could either of them done the defensive side....Kinky probably not.

Bellamy......think outwide his pace, tenacity and work rate may have attracted Pep..BUT was he cover enough to work in a Pep team

The defenders are harder....Distin maybe?

Certainly none of the goalkeepers from our past as Pep requires a unique skill set...

Fullbacks?????
Without doubt - Colin the King - Nijinsky. Imperious skill, vicious and accurate rocket shot, more stamina than any other player in the league, faster than any other player in the league, covered more ground than any other player in the league, exceptional in the air, a ball winner (superb in the tackle), could bang the ball in from outside the box or arrive late and get on the end of passes others couldn't reach, controlled aggression, 152 goals from midfield before his injury at 29 from 500 games, led by example with the near perfect temperament. He was that good and so far ahead of his time that he would fit Pep's formation perfectly. And modest with it. Today £150m.

Pep would have done for SWP what he's doing for Raheem.

Eyal Berkovic fits Pep's profile and Andy Hinchcliffe would be a great option as a left back.

Would be interested to see what Pep could have done with Keith Curle - if he could improve his on the ball skills he would have been great playing in a high line.

What about Barry in the pivot role - has the passing and positioning skills but maybe a little too slow?

Bloody hell...completely forgot about berkovic as well....def a pep player as well

Without doubt Glyn Pardoe, still the best left back I've seen at City. Obvious others, Bell, Lake, Michael Johnson and Tevez.
I agree largely because Glyn never really was a left back despite the number 3 shirt. He played essentially a midfield role not unlike Delph and Zinchenko have been playing this season.

Pep would have made Neil Young into a world beater.
