Manchester Derby in the cup anyone?
I'd love to get drawn against them, can't understand why we played so negatively against them at old Trafford . Sergio would have a field day against that lot.

The problem of playing against teams with a defensive mind is that they starve momentum and kill a game's tempo. We've done it to others in the past and that lot did it to us.
King Louis' biggest whine is that the opposition came to defend not play an expansive game leaving themselves open to the counter attack.

The EFC v City two legs were always gonna be a football game 'cos both teams open up. Their respective defences are always likely to be breached and when you have international strikers it's gonna be an entertaining game. Cue a team that has trouble scoring and the whole picture changes to one where you rely on a bloomer like the VIlla guy yesterday, or you attempt to negate the opposition by usually foul means and wait on the ref giving you a soft 'un.
To paraphrase-quote your location, some teams are upwind of the mangrove swamp (of nil) without a paddle
Derby who had not won in 5 games IIRC,played on Monday n got spanked. Scum played a fit 1st eleven
Villa who had managed a little bit of form prior to yesterday.
City without most of our spine.
Which is the better win?
City obviously.
