The money thing was only ever a rumour
Sturridge has always said it was about football, he wanted to play and so he fell out with the Clueless one
When he played against us and scored he didn't celebrate and in the interview following said he never would
Do you remember Mancini collaring him after a game and he asked Sturridge why he left (as he thought he was a terrific player)
Sturridge shrugged his shoulders and said "I don't know"
The lad who's at Dortmund did the same. Left over game time

I despise Liverpool but I would like to see Sturridge do well. If he could stay fit and find some consistency, he would be some player.

not really, Sterling moved to win trophies and be successful. Sturridge moved because he wanted a ton more money and like Sancho, felt he was entitled to a starting spot without needing to earn it.

Nonsense IMO, he left us as Clueless persisted with Chad Evans. Id bloody well leave too. You wouldn't turn Chelsea down considering the combination of a decent wage, more game time and the trophies he won there. Bolton was a loan. He did ok there then went to Liverpool where he found form then injuries.

I agree, this greedy business was put about by clueless and only a few people liked him but thousands believe Sturbridge is a greedy **** for wanting to be selected ahead of Ched Evans, he could break into Chelsea’s team and moved to Liverpool were he has scored plenty but injuries have fucked him and is now deemed unreliable to stay fit for selection, I would have had him back as cover if the price was right :)

If it's true he left for more game time rather than being a greedy bastard then I wouldn't have been as pissed off.
He's always had talent and the boy can finish, shame he suffers so much from injuries.
But I agree his goal celebration is almost as cringey as pingpings and Pogbad.
