His goal was a good goal, but the keeper should have saved it. He ran the game though, so many times he just turned his man and ran at the defence causing panic. He played a major part in all 4 goals, along with the RB Cancelo. Dare I say there is a bit of Kaka about him? Mainly with the way he dribbles through central areas with speed and his eye for a pass.
If its Kaka we are comparing him with, ill call him kaka with pace.
But i dont really see the kaka comparison tbh. Lopes is to little and much quicker, and are much more direct in his play.

But Kaka was all about pace when he was at his best? They both don't seem that fast untill they start dribbling, then they just seem to blaze past people. I was trying to think of who he reminds me of and he is as close as I can think really. Obviously he doesn't have Kaka's height, but he never used his height anyway, Lopes is probably stronger anyway.

It's just the way he picks the ball up in central areas and just suddenly turns a man and running directly at the back four with pace and control, with an eye for a pass but also a goalscoring threat just reminds me of Kaka in his youth. Obviously only time will tell on how good he becomes, but I'm hugely excited.

Hello All!

This is a long shot, i'm aware but i really don't know where else to start.

My cousin is in the youth team of a second division team in Argentina (he is Argentine) and is one of the brightest prospects. He has had a couple of first division teams show interest, but i think he has the skills to make it in a big club in Europe.

He is coming to the US to have a trial with the San Jose Earthquakes (who have ties to spurs) and i was wondering, how do city go about discovering trialist? i know this is by no means the best way to go about this, but at this point i'm just curious how these things work. As a city fan, one can only dream right? any info or contacts are appreciated, just trying to get as much info as possible.

Cheers and CTID!

didnt really know where to put this, but imo there will be a lot of great young players in the prem coming up this year and playing. In particular from villas academy and liverpools. I think if some get a chance then england have a great fututre.

1-0 against monchengladbach. Ntcham crosses for Jordi hiwala, who just returned from injury. 15 minutes in the game.
