How many points will be needed to win the league?

We could win it on goal difference with them losing once. One loss in 9 games isnt a stretch. It's whether we can win all of ours. We are closer than last season and lots still to play for. I just question whether we can go up the level we need to.

We might have to settle for just the Champions League. Tough times.
Forgetting the FA cup mate! Probably got a better chance of winning that. It's essentially beat 2 mid table teams!

I said before the season that the dippers will be our main rivals and they are.

We are perceived as the best team in England no matter what. That's why it's probably more important to cement our place globally and win the CL. It's all in our hands there, and as long as we win it, we are the best team in the world in the minds of most.

Nobody will care whether we win the PL or not.

We've just dropped points in consecutive games. If we can do it, other cunts can too.

Plus, the goal difference is not insurmountable. They lose a game by 2, we win a game by 3 the same round, and the GD is made up.
They’ll score 5 or 6 mid midweek

The last two years, the recruitment has been shocking, with the exception of Gvardiol.

Then there is the team set up Players played out of position, notably Gvardiol and Alvarez. Foden could’ve been better utilised in many games. Bobb not used enough. Haaland seemingly un droppable.

Either it has gone stale or the players are not good enough. Football is slow and predictable.

Lucky to be only three points of the top.

Last season was as much down to Arsenal falling off a cliff as us.

The Madrid home leg was perfection, but we’ve seen little since.

It’s not over, but we don’t deserve to win it. Can’t beat any decent team in this league.

There's a reason why only 2 teams have ever won the treble. There's also a reason why no team as ever successfully defended the treble.

Something has to give.

Fighting on all those fronts must be fucking exhausting. Then you add to the mix: losing KDB for half the season, losing Gundo (and not replacing him properly) and Rodri getting suspended for 3 key games (one of which was Arsenal away). It's incredibly hard. Then our rivals: Liverpool got stronger, Arsenal strengthened. It's a lot to ask to STILL win the league with all that. To be within 3 points is pretty good.

Who knows Liverpool and Arsenal might choke. City might relax a bit more and feel like there's less expectation on them now, who knows. Still within a shout of winning 2 cups. Let's see what happens.

Treble documentary is out tomorrow in Netflix, so let's all watch that and remind ourselves how incredible that was.

Think we probably need to win every game now, but we are more than capable of that. Whilst yesterday was hugely disappointing a loss would have been pretty catastrophic, so I’m glad we avoided that.

With a quarter of the season left, plenty can still happen. Anyone who completely writes us off at this stage lacks perspective, given we are three points behind with nine games to go, but I readily accept that if we fail to beat Villa or Palace that view starts to hold much more water.

If we can make up the goal difference and keep winning then the pressure on the other two will doubtless intensify and the true mark of champions is winning in those circumstance, which we have done again and again. Time will tell if Liverpool or Arsenal can emulate that.
