Lorry diver jailed for 10 years this morning for killing a mum, her two kids and stepdaughter - footage of him in his cab scrolling through music on his phone - the **** looks up and sees the danger about one second before impact ! AND he had signed a declaration to not use his phone whilst driving at his employers depot before setting off - one hour prior to this.

But he's not on his own though is he? Whilst sat on the coach headed to West Brom on Saturday morning I saw some shockers on the M6

Alongside the usual collection of drivers lighting fags and the phone tapping/reading numpties, you know the type, holding the phone on their knee so that they can't be seen by car drivers below, I think the worst was the guy steering with his elbows whilst trying to get the cup/lid off a flask !!!!

Every morning on my way to work i must see about 5 women doing their make up while driving, its mental. Saw a woman last week looking over her shoulder talking to her kid in the back seat for about 5/10 seconds on the motorway...

Fuck me, he takes out about 5 cars. I presumed he was talking on his phone from the news, but it says he was changing a song on his itunes. Ive done that plenty of times without even thinking im breaking the law or could cause an accident, bit of a wake up call

Was driving up to a roundabout on a dual carriageway this morning and saw in my mirror some flashy white sports car hacking along and weaving behind me. Get to the queue at the roundabout and he pulls up alongside me, holding his phone to his ear and chatting away.

I look at him and he's some fancy dan with terrible jewellery and a Ministry of Sound circa 2000 haircut. He catches me looking and so I make a sort of 'get off your phone, you tw@t' gesture. His response? Sticks his tongue out me!

I mean, who does that these day?!

I loathe these people. No excuse. Get a hands-free.

Bizarre really, you don't think about it - this is much the same as me changing tracks on the mp3 player built into my car, but that's not a crime (AFAIK?)
