I have just switched from sky to virgin I have got 60mb broadband, unlimited phone to land lines, entertainment pack with sky sports, a TiVo box and a v+ hd box for upstairs for £79.50 a month for first 6 months then £89.50 after that. I thought it was a good deal

I've never had virgin but to me it looks like your getting robbed blind. As I'm always looking for the cheapest deals to save a bit of cash and virgin is always at the top of the list. Only reason i don't go with them is because of their fair use policy on the internet packages. As i like to download all sorts of shit of bittorrent and virgin don't like that so that's the only reason i don't sign up with them.

Xxl tv package, 20mb broadband and no phone line (no sports channels apart from espn and the free ones like eurospoet) costs me 48 a month. Your being had here

Rang to cancel Virgin yesterday after being with them for years paying 80ish a month for 10mb and basic channels with the v+ box. Told them Talk Talk were giving free you view boxes and cheaper broadband. So got offered 30mb upgrade, Tivo box, 1 multi room box, unlimited day/night calls and 150 mins to 0845 numbers. £30 a month including line rental. Bargain!!! It's a new package deal they are doing, might be worth other blues trying to get a better offer.

Virgin are horrible at throttling the speeds (or was, not used em a while). Virgin do however have their own newsgroup sever (tip top for recent releases faster and cleaner than torrents)
pay 80 quid per year for tv thru dodgy box. :)
