Just finished 'A Line In The Sand' by James Barr. Very comprehensively researched book about how the current Middle East was shaped by Anglo-French ambition & rivalry. No wonder it's a complete mess.

Have you read any James Ellroy. American Tabloid is particularly good.

Thanks - I'm glad you're enjoying it. When you've finished, you might want to try "The Fabric of the Cosmos: Space, Time and the Texture of Reality" also by Brian Greene.
