Who is the player you have been most gutted about leaving city?

Gutted when Denis Law left for Torino.

David Wagstaffe and Clive Wilson, two local lads that City sold in the 1960's and 1980's respectively. Both were the type of player City needed and went on to give long service at the top level which rankled.

I was a bit gutted when Micah Richards left, however it wasn't about him as a person or any such shite, I was just disappointed that he never actually reached the heights I had hoped he would. For some reason I actually thought he'd develop into a monster of a centre back for us, and stay until the end of his career.

I was also a bit miffed when Hart left as well, because I wanted him to finish his career with us as I genuinely believe he loves the club.

It's been 6 years since I started following the club, I was really gutted when we sold Nige, and recently Hart.

David Wagstaffe. There had been rumblings that the board were going to start selling players but nothing of substance.

I went down to Shropshire with my parents at Christmas and decided to get the supporters bus from Oakengates to watch Wolves at home on Boxing Day. Imagine my horror when David Wagstaffe was introduced as their new signing before the match.

Wagstaffe would have been great at left wing in the Mercer-Allison era rather than Tony Coleman.
