Just chuffed with the points. Swans did excellent in snuffing us out 2nd half and of course defence is still a huge worry but I have no doubt we'll see a huge clear out back there in the summer. Onwards.

Great first half and much needed 3 points, our season long inconsistencies still there and hopefully will be addressed in the summer. Sterling booking was shocking, their goal offside without a doubt, clichy poor again and kdb was very bad second half. Need to get Jesus and Sergio in the same team to make more use of our dominant periods.

Pushing for 2nd place now. Gained a lot of points against those around us - what a difference a week makes. I forecast a pummelling, got one in the 1st half, but finally got a winner that our performance deserved.

Silva and Sterling missed too many chances today, Silva could've scored 2 and Sterling was a headless chicken at times today. Frustrating when we know how good they can be.

It'd probably help if he made that post last season and not this where for all intents and purposes Sterling has been a candidate for player of the year.
But yeah, we're all entitled to an opinion and all that..

Bit of a nailbiter at the end but another phenomenal first half display exerting full control on the match.

Sane for me was the outstanding player once again. Great first touch and tremendous in tight situations.

There is still a disparity between possession and goals scored in comparison to the opposition and,on occasions, I think we need to be a bit more direct (not long ball) in our play to use the limited space afforded us. Too often the first couple of passes are too slow and the opposition has regained its set up

Excellent first half but fizzled out towards half time. Can't understand how or why we handed them the initiative in the second half. When they scored it was absolutely no surprise. We showed a lot of character to get the winner though. Is that our first injury time winner this season?

Sterling a candidate for player of the year would be stretching it a bit. His final ball and finishing will always hold him and city back. He's excellent up to a point but the last bit is the part that really matters.

Very good summation. Fantastic result, we dug deep against a well organised defence, and another shite ref.
