Sunderland v City post match

Good solid performance that left Sunderland chasing shadows. I thought Clichy had a good game, made some vital interceptions and his all round game was pretty good. Kolarov too was pretty impressive, at times he seems a better cb than a left back. Stones was good too. Despite the assist I thought Raheem had one of his poorest games this season. He wasn't bad, it's just that he's raised the bar so much that it was poor for him.
What can you say about Sane? He is going to be some fucking player. Silva MOTM for me, it was funny as fuck when Pep was bollocking him at the end. Happy to see Sergio get a goal too.

There's no easy games in the premier league.... apart from Sunderland

Decent training session lads !!

Excellant result. Ony one thing Ive noticed is that Agueros first touch when the ball is cleared out to him is not great. GJ def has it over him in that deptmnt. Ive never given up on the title this season. While we are playing like this anything can happen. Chelsea will now feel they really need to beat WH rather than a point will do. Stranger things have happened havent they. Aguerooooooooo.

How much of a part did the poor playing surface effect the game today though?

Very much part of the Sunderland game plan and it will have been left well alone after the last game and i wouldn't be surprised to hear that they had let the reserves have a run and even trained on it so as to leave it in that condition.

You can hardly blame them but at this level, you would hope all teams and players wanted a pristine surface and if its shit for us its also shit for them.

Hmm sorry guys but we were pretty poor. Play like this against united and we will be crushed. Without Silva .....

Hilarious, you rags don't usually stick around til this late.
Stop wanking, it'll improve your eyesight.

Misread that as "deserved that shit" was expecting Kev to tell him to feck off....great gesture from KdB class
Yeah it was, very nice indeed, not just that though; the fella did deserve it, i saw him a few times clapping good play from us when it was deserved. A student of the game if ever there was one!

Not the best game but well worth the 3 points.

Play was disjointed, the usual combinations didnt work as well, but individually I thought Sane, Silva, Yaya played well enough to orchestrate a win.

Motm - Kolarov

Play like this against United and we will walk it, they're a joke of a team who've just dished out £100m on Moussa Sissoko's edgy little cousin. They have one goalscorer who's less consistent than Prince Charles' bowel movements, their two young English prodigies have the combined talent of Leroy Sané's left leg and their all-time leading goalscorer has been outscored in the league this season by a 19-year-old Brazilian with two games under his belt. What's more, they care more about social media, image, haircuts, secret handshakes and dabbing than they do about playing good football. We are United's worst nightmare and I just hope they're ready for us.

Really interesting watching Pep coach Silva and Willy at the end of the game....what do you say to a player like Silva to make him better??????? Id love to hear what he said and I wish there was a decent journo out there that would take an interest in that stuff and at least ask Pep.....whether he would tell us is another thing
Pep said later he was making a point about not playing it around at the back in the last 10 minutes at 2-0, that we should attack more in that situation. Think he was telling Silva as he's the captain.

Kolarov was like a combination of Beckenbaur , Baresi and Moore today

Sunderland really need to go down for their own good, but whilst Moyes keeps buying rag reserves there's little hope they'd come back.
I like the comment rag reserves..had to laugh when januzi was hooked after an hour...forget it son, your out yer depth, have a rest on the bench lad.lol

Very comfortable win for your boys....we caused an odd scare first half...but nothing too alarming.

I think we are pretty much doomed

Hopefully West Ham can do the world a big favour to,or roe

Good luck and all the best as always.

Outside the ground, your fans seem resigned to your fate. Hope I'm wrong but don't think we'll be visiting the Sol for a few years. Good luck
