It was Sterling who was offside and then got in a tangle with the defender so deemed to be interfering.

My take is he wasn't and neither was Raz as he didn't try to play the ball. He tangles with the defender so if its a free kick for a foul then fair enough but it wasn't offside and given no foul was seen by the ref the goal should have stood.

Deemed to be active therefore offside correctly given

Disappointed with the first 30 minutes, they could easily have gone ahead, then we turned on the screw to go two up and should have made it 3/4. Spanish Dave was magnificent and now he speaks the lingo too!
So pleased overall, other top teams have struggled here, but still some areas of concern.

Perfect professional 2nd half performance. Get an early 2nd goal to kill them off then spend the rest of the game playing keep ball, in the process not getting tired or risking any knocks with 2 games coming up in the next 6 days. Easy when you're so good at it
