We tried that Yaya-Dinho combination against Stoke and it didn't really work, don't think Yaya has the legs to play further forward anymore. I'd play both but have Yaya in the pivot role and Dinho screening further forward, allowing Silva a bit more freedom to pick out runners.Yesterday's team but with Willy and Fernandinho instead of Bravo and KDB, but with Dinho in front of the back four and Yaya given a free role in midfield. Then bring on KDB in the second half for Yaya.
Yep, took a bang to the hip, looked painful. Don't know if it'll keep him out on Wednesday though.MEN are reporting Falcao picked up and injury yesterday and is doubtful.
Their manager said he hopes he will be fit,be good if he's notMEN are reporting Falcao picked up and injury yesterday and is doubtful.
Brilliant if true. I'm only surprised we didn't pick up at least a couple yesterday after playing those cloggers.MEN are reporting Falcao picked up and injury yesterday and is doubtful.
You'd be surprised, think both teams will be better prepared defensively. This will be an incredibly tough game. It should have goals galore again.
They will and I hope we get the defence and midfield sitting back in a solid block and the front three ready to counter, if we get the first goal their self belief will start to crumble and we'll be one goal from burying the tie.No doubt they'll come flying out of the blocks throwing everything at us,
so if we can just hold them at bay for twenty minutes or so and let the game settle down,
we should be ok.
Little edit there, do not fancy watching Clichy up against any two of Sidibe/Mbappe/B. Silva.I wouldn't start Fernandinho. He is completely out of form at the minute. Our best bet is to keep them on the back foot by attacking so same side as yesterday but with Willy in for Bravo and Kolarov in for Clichy.

Wowzers! You'd stick AK at left back against their fast tricky players?????Little edit there, do not fancy watching Clichy up against any two of Sidibe/Mbappe/B. Silva.

At least AK can defend a ball knocked over his head and knows when to floor someone instead of letting them past and sticking his hands in the air.Wowzers! You'd stick AK at left back against their fast tricky players?????
That'd be the equivalent of football suicide, regardless of how poor Clichy has been.
And don't say "Wowzers" Rammy, it makes you look like a **** and you're not a ****.Wowzers! You'd stick AK at left back against their fast tricky players?????

You had a heart attack yet at the price of the beer over there?'Doubtful' the key word here
If they're happy to sit back and defend I'd be more than happy to see the two centre halves spend 90 minutes playing two touch. We'll be expecting them to come at use early, and if they do it will leave holes that we can take advantage of. I think the problem we have here is that if they sit back and defend for the first 20 minutes to try and spoil our game plan. They'll be hoping we get frustrated, and end up leave gaps behind for them to exploit.
It is certainly going to be a tough game. and the first goal will be massively important.
