We've had the nice "win a trophy for the fans" moment, now I can't see why the goal isn't for us to take the best of Bayern/Barca/Juve domination in various guises in recent years, make it our own and set the best era *period*. I want to see us get there because then we'll achieve things no-one else can, and we can re-define football in the process, and there's no better mark to leave, particularly if we can topple the establishment in the process.

The sad thing at the moment is our club and team is just too nice, players let the referee upset them with the screwy decisions and don't ruthlessly put teams to bed, I feel for any sustained level of success we need to develop that ruthless "fuck the rest" attitude, but I'd love if we can take it further and create a defining era.

Can we stop this ludicrous it's back on shite now once and for all. I think we proved today that whatever Chelsea do it won't be us catching them. Top 4 is out best hope now and I think 4th is probably where we will finish.

Arsenal were crap today so the FA Cup is a chance but we have to play better than that.

As I say, I'm so glad I don't feel anything the same way you do. I wouldn't swap mindsets for £500,000. And I say that honestly.

In future, I'll be sure to state "domestic" for ****s that ignore the point and go for the semantics.
 
Change the thread to Top 3 Race. Finishing fourth is poor, it's a failure and doesn't get you CL football
