Seriously - you expect the EU to fall over itself to be a "good neighbour" when (according to some on here) we've just undermined their foundations!
Seriously - You expect the EU to disregard it's own treaties? Any other treaty it should disregard? Maybe the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons, or the Chemical Weapons Convention.

Oh my lord, some of our media need to get a grip.

We are in danger of being a laughing stock making threats of bravado over a load of old bollocks.

And before I am accused of being a bitter remainer, I ain't arsed about leaving the EU it's happening I am fine with it, but letting the clowns in the right wing media set the agenda is gonna set us up for a fall.

And that passes for journalism at the Torygraph is it? Fuck me.

Expect? They will applaud it pmsl.

The EU are the gift that just keeps on giving and if we had the vote tomorrow, the winning margin would be even greater.

Just remember it will have to conform to all EU regulations as we haven't left yet!
Ha Ha.
And it will have to comply with all EU regulations after we have left!
( otherwise we won't be able to flog them anything post Brexit - post Brexit divergence and no ECJ etc etc and that and that and that).

Classic remainers, reality and common sense nowhere in sight.

I can't wait for President Le Pen to make an appearance. The fallout, in off topic alone, will be absolutely (fucking hilarious) just too despairing to contemplate.

LOL.
Didn't work out for you in the Netherlands did it?
Get a life.
Must be boring sat in your beach hut all day.

Through your Europhobic eyes, every trip, every stumble and shit storm coming our way reinforces your Euro-scepticism and you assume everyone sees it that way.

They don't.

The strong stand we take is determined and resolute, a sign of strength and resolve. Similar firm but opposite positions held by the remaining 27 EU members are shifty and punitive.

It's raw jingoism.

I don't attempt to be high brow, I am high brow.

You want something you will never get, blind obedience. I don't care whether 99.99% voted to leave, all that gives you is the right to leave, it does not give you the right to insist I agree with you and I don't.

Had remain won I wouldn't have expected you to change your mind and I'd have been happy for you to spout Europhobic bollocks to your hearts content.

I simply observed that you were spouting garbage - I am not expecting you to change your mind and I fully expect you to continue posting garbage 99.99% of the time.

With regard to:

"Truth is not the same as expediency, nor is it a prisoner of plebiscite." -

my experience is that people that spout in such a manner are desperate to appear to be 'high-brow' in an attempt to make up for other short-comings

I agree.

Military action just would cause havoc as it would bring us and Spain into conflict which would lead to NATO members taking sides.

All this is is posturing before we all get down to business debating the best possible outcomes, however I do think the EU potentially turning Brexit into a territorial dispute as well as a trade dispute has gone a little too far towards the extreme.

Re this 'Gibraltar thing'

What does not seem to be discussed is the absolute arrogance of a Polish ex-PM, now a 'EU leading light' making such a proclamation about a land border between 2 major European nations - Spain and the UK - without any consultation with either of them.

Fucking disgrace and typical of the utter arrogance of the EU
