Never try and sign a player who has rejected you in the past.

Wow. How people think we still have a starting 11 is beyond me.
Pep have changed the system this season to 4-3-3 and let Silva & KDB do the role's of Xavi & Iniesta.
They are the one who play in the middle ahead of the Defensive midfielder or the pivot or whatever you want to call him.
There is a competition between Yaya, Fernandinho & Delph for that position, but KDB and Silva have no serious competition on their positions.
Gundogan?
You are right, I forget him.
But what is Gundogan best position ? is it Defensive midfielder, CM or CAM ?

This is why I resigned to us not getting Isco. I think our midfield purchase will be for a starter at DM.I thought he would have been used as the pivot but Pep used him as an 8.
I wouldn't rule out Pep seeing him next season as a pivot and bringing in another 10/ 8 to rival David and Kev.
Good response that mate - totally agreeWhy though? If a player is available and will improve the squad then why let silly grievances get in the way? He didn't publicly slate us, he just got a better offer at the time. If an offer from Real Madrid had been on the table when we signed Kompany, Zabaleta etc then they probably would have rejected us too. All of our players are with us because at that particular point in time, they felt that City could best serve their careers and/or bank balances. They arrive for professional reasons, but so long as they as do their best and hopefully come to love the club over time then i don't see the problem with that. There's no reason why Isco couldn't do the same.
Loving this :-)Isco On bench again for big game tonight
May be time to leave

Modric and Kroos, Kovacic gets as much game time as him when they're rotated.Which players keep Isco out of Real's starting 11?
