Alexis Sanchez

Sanchez, Jesus, Sané, Sterling and 1 (or 2) of Ünal, Kelechi, Nolito and Roberts IMO. Let's say 1 and it's Roberts, for arguments sake.

Sané Alexis Sterling (Roberts/Jesus on bench)
Sané Jesus Alexis (Sterling/Roberts)
Alexis Jesus Sterling (Sané/Roberts)
Sané Jesus Sterling (Roberts/Alexis)

Frightening possibilities, even without our greatest striker.

I'd love Kun to stay as much as anyone but Pep is Pep and I'm more than willing to support his decision.

Navas is playing full back, Nacho rarely makes the bench these days and Nolito is getting 5 minute cameos. All while Jesus is out with a long term injury. While Roberts might be happy playing sporadically for a season or two, none of the other 5 will put up with it for long.
Navas may save Pep £30m on a fullback??

Navas won't get a new contract. I reckon he'll be shown up soon at RB. We need at THE VERY LEAST 2 full-backs, maybe as many as 4.
I think Navas has given Pep food for thought, 2 weeks ago he was setting up a return to Spain, games against arguably 2 of the best attacking players in world football Hazard & Sanchez & IMO has done ok, there could be a new contract on the table (12 months) with Sagna & Zaba out the door. Navas + Fabinio + Maffeo :)

Very good transfer if happens, considering that we can afford only 1 new attacker. Versatile player, covers all front positions, can press all day long, press-resistant, good playmaker and winger in one pack. Didn't really like him at Barca but he's got better since then. But is he worth 50m with expiring contract? That's the question.

Even Coman wants out. The kid came in against arsenal scored 2 goals, didn't smile or celebrate. Didn't even want to acknowledge that he had done something. Just had that "resting notch side eye" face for the 20 or so minutes he was on.

Robben and Robbery have been fairly healthy this season, which makes it unpleasant for 2 younger guys, Coman and Costa.

The way I see it, you need 4 players for the 3 forward positions: Right now its Aguero, Sane, Sterling and Gabriel. If you get Sanchez someone has to leave. And its probably Aguero who would.

Same in midfield: 4 players for the 3 positions pl

Leo is maybe. Luka? No. He is getting to that age where injuries last longer and affects form longer. Best CM in the world, but he gave his best years to Spurs and Madrid. No need bringing him in here for a swangsong. I'd rather go get someone tounger. Leandro Paredes perhaps!
you would have 8 players for 6 positions- and expect them to go through the season at something like peak level performance?

Now let's put this on the table, Sanchez playing for UTD, Chelsea or even Yes even Liverpool would Pep or any City fan want that ????

City should go all in on this deal no doubt about it, Sanchez is fucking world class.

With the players at City & what's coming in he will take us to another level.

60 + games, Sanchez-Sane- Sterling & Jesus + Aguero would give us so many options.

Remember what Pep said ( I would have 10 midfielders in my team).

For all the statistic freaks out there can anyone tell me & the forum how many league games has Aguero played in each of the last 4 seasons????

With Injuries & bans it would be interesting..

Silva needs more help & to keep him & others fresh this is one signing that has to happen if he is available.

KDB gave us hope & will get better, Sane & Sterling have been quality & will be the dogs bollocks in a couple of years but we need the finished article now not in a few years.

Aguero 1 more season then it's good bye.

Too old for me. We're moving towards a younger team, so spending big money on bringing in a 28 year old seems to defeat the point, he's older than Aguero who half our fans are falling over themselves trying to sell. If he was 3 or 4 years younger, then yes, all over it, but not now. We already have too many ageing players, so buying in another one seems very short sighted. Bit of a stroppy **** as well

But most of our older players are leaving anyway mate?

Before he signed for arsenal didnt he want to move to London and turned down Liverpool. I agree i think he will go to Chelsea.
