Been watching lots of reports saying if we leave we won't get the workers for hotels etc etc, I'm sure there are loads of people over here who could do those jobs, if it paid a decent living wage, if these employers say they can't then basically they are wanting slave labour from abroad. If they can't fill the spots then people who are claiming benefits need to be pushed in their direction, thereby reducing unemployment, benefit claiming while simulataeonsly increasing tax revenues from people earning and spending money in this country, I don't see a down side to this.

Nail on the head mate. This is why so many 'nice' people in London are pro EU/uncontrolled immigration - they need people to serve their coffee's and empty their bins living ten to a room on minimum wage. If you curtail immigration you create a labour shortage and then wage increases which would be passed on in costs. The down side is that those of us above the bottom rung of the wage ladder will have to pay more for 'stuff' such as shopping, Starbucks, cleaners, and having our arses wiped in old age. The uncomfortable truth is that our comfortable lives rely as much upon an enslaved underclass as they did centuries ago.

We' re at virtually full employment immigration won't be reduced any time in the next few years.

"
But despite this, around 74% of manufacturing firms and 58% of services firms said they were struggling to find staff.
Suren Thiru, head of economics at the BCC, told the BBC: "The main issue is finding enough people with the right skills, and of course the workforce is aging. "

The aging workforce is particularly worrying, when it comes to retirement there will a huge increase in those taking out of the tax system which will need growth in young workers to pay for it, they can only come from immigration unless the birth rate is going to increase.

There really is some presumptuous shite posted on this thread at times.

Initially we were told by an odd few on here that they 'knew' the exact reasons why the majority of the public voted to leave the EU. Now we're being told that those of us who voted leave are incapable of intelligent reasoning and have an inability to understand that there could possibly be difficult times ahead. Well no shit Sherlock, guess what, we can think for ourselves.

It's hardly surprising that a great many arrogant and condescending people have been well and truly booted up the arse by the voting majority. People who live their lives believing that they were born with far superior understanding of situations than us mere mortals deserve to be outed good and proper - and not before time.

What are these 'difficult times ahead' to which you refer?
As far as I am aware there was no mention of this in either of the national leave campaigns ( Leave.EU and Vote Leave) and neither has the Government made any reference to 'difficult times' resulting from Brexit.
Can you enlighten me please as you have got me a bit worried now.

Difficult times? I feel cheated after being promised ww3, an emergency budget, house price collapse, and mass unemployment :-(

Won't somebody think of the middle class arseholes who won't have anybody to serve them their coffees. Have you seen the devastation you've caused fellow Brexiters? That woman is clearly in distress ;)
Its not just minimum wage service they provide, they also receive tax credits and housing benefits to top up their shite wages enough to pay extortionate rent to property developers.

Great, where do you think we'll end up?

Ha - obviously the new ploy from you guys.

You cannot contribute your own content - just always ask others to put things forward so that you can come back with critique and cheap ridicule - maybe, if we are unlucky, with a gif or 2.

I came back from golf today, expecting to see some real in-depth analysis from yourself and SB addressing your 'insightful' views in answer to Len's questions.

You always seem to have all the answers so why have you missed this opportunity to demonstrate the quality that you clearly believe that your posts contain.

Or is it all just bollocks and bluster with you guys.

Go on - a fellow member of your collective asked the questions - let's see if you are capable of answering them.

P.s. I was shit at golf today, I think that it was because the 'high-brow' quality of your devastating attack earlier was playing on my mind all the time and affecting my self-confidence

Edit: TBF, I had not thought it possible to read stuff more cheap and shallow than you post and then I just read this:

that's not you is it?

I have made a donation to the "Help an entitled Middle Class Witch" Fund. I hope you shall also show your patronage.

So it's just going to be shit rather than a total disaster?
Thank fcuk for that.
Lol, your glass is certainly half empty. I bet you'd complain about the scar on your chest if you had a successful heart transplant. Don't worry Len even if brexit is a huge success there will eventually be another recession we can attribute to it - so you get to be right eventually so long as you keep predicting doom tomorrow for long enough.

The comment I made just echoed your pessimism mate.
You're the miserable dude.
I predicted my Brexit outcome a few posts back, quite optimistic actually.

I thought she was doing a Clarkie. Even so, she's right - http://www.online-banking.biz/2017/03/pret-manger-facing-staff-shortages.html
Even our main Brexit man says it, 'Brexit Secretary David Davis .. said the door to the UK would not “suddenly shut” because it would take “years and years” to fill jobs in sectors that rely heavily on migrants, such as hospitality and social care'.

And thanks to mcfc1632 for introducing us to that guy from the Irish Times. "Less than a week since the article 50 letter first established the UK’s negotiating principles, they are being changed. The Brexiteers are so dim, so wedded to platitudes and simple slogans that they didn’t notice. They don’t do details." (I think he means Davis and Johnson are dim - the dimness of the overeducated seems to be his thesis.)

Tbf the person who was too dim to work out the details for brexit was the one that called the referendum.
