Hart isn't as good as our Willy I'm not having that one,Willy's what he is a decent back up keeper who now looks World class owing to how poor Bravo's turned out to be in games in the premier league.

well Hart's been poor at best in Torino, and needed Stones to bail him out against Lithuania of all teams, whilst Willy has been largely excellent apart from Chelsea away.

Bravo may not save anything, but last season was an exercise in teams counter-attacking and scoring low to Joe's left, game after game after game, also cost us a lot in the title race.
Genuine question, if 'low and to the left' is acceptable ignorance when talking about Hart conceding then why can't someone say 'on target' for Bravo?

Why would Joe be a disaster? When have you seen him playing the way Pep plays? Once this season - where he had a 100 percent pass completion rate for city and for England under Southgate where he hasn't made a mistake with his feet either. You simply can not assume because a player is told to play one way (kick it long) under one manager that he can not adapt to a different approach. Granted Bravo may well be better at pinging the odd pass to a player in midfield but Joe would not be a disaster today - far from it because he would give a calmness to the defence and an ability to Marshall them into proper defensive positions rather than now where they are all over the place
Joe is not a footballer with competent footwork. He would release passes two quickly negating the requirement to draw the opposition on. Joe is a good keeper, but I genuinely believe he hasnt the wherewithal to play in Peps system.

Can't say I've followed Harts career at Torino I have watched both Bravo and Willy though, Bravo he certainly ain't covered his self in glory here, Willy on the other hands been ok but to say he's a better goalkeeper than Hart despite Harts faults is stretching it a bit far in my opinion.

I'm sure we'll see the advantage of the goalkeeper holding on to the ball to beat the press if the other side press of course, but you'll forgive me if I'm not feeling it at the moment, out of Europe out of contention in the league and the frightening possibility of playing Bravo in a semi final where the oppositions more than likely going to have a shot on target.

Make sure you book the appt for first thing on tuesday

well you're wrong as usual.

he's a better keeper this season, which is all that really matters.

You do know there are another ten in the side - unless you are solely attributing our season down to him

For anyone who's remotely interested in the standing of this entity.
Currently, Arsenal are the best team in England and Fiorentina are closing in fast on Real Madrid.

Not sure what that has got to do with anything. It fully explains how they calculate their list.

Bravo before joining City was widely regarded as World Class.

I know there's 10 more in the side thats way there's 10 + more threads ,the goalkeepers a big part of the side though if he can't be relied on to make the occasional save its a big problem to the team.

Well it is a shame to see nobody comment in here after his clean sheet, he played well and I only had two worries, one in the first half when I think he chased down his own punch and the ball was cleared from behind after a shot and then in the second half when they were passing it around and he ended up at the corner flag looking for the pass back, that was just a little bit two iffy for me and he his clearance landed at a soton player who didn't take a pot at the open net but in the main he was good, didn't have to make any worldie saves but that isn't his fault is it.

Good games is not what drives the Bravo thread :)

He played well, saved the one chance they got on target, looked to have Tadic and Ward-Prowse's efforts covered and showed some great aggression and conviction coming for crosses. Passing was good too, bar the one into Dinho that got nicked by the Saints player coming in from behind, tbf you could say Dinho should have been a bit more alert as well. Hopefully it gives him some confidence for the rest of the season.

Played his part in get us the 3 points, and the iffy passing is part of the risks we are taking with our style of play.
