Looked back to his best.

I feel bad for doubting him and can only hope he can keep himself fit now.

Some would have him written off and not just for his injuries, he can't pass or bring the ball out of defence apparently.

Welcome back Captain :)

His distribution of the ball was fantastic as well. If he stays fit for the rest of the season Pep would be stupid to sell him.

With respect to Tony Book , VK is our best captain ever and probably the best centre back we have had , never thought i would see him playing at his best again or see that brilliant goal celebration , it brought goose bumps to see how much it meant to him and his after match comments were from the heart . Just hope Pep shows the same patience and gives him a chance to prove how much he means to our club , he has certainly earned it the courage VK has shown to recover from these irritating injuries is worthy of a Wembley appearance next week

Kompanys race is run

You can't play a player who's gonna break down mentally or physically and be subbed off.
Waste of a sub and starting berth.

Shame but I doubt we will ever see him play a meangingful game again
You were saying? Breakdown mentally my sphincter.

Loved his passion after his goal, and the effort for the goal was supreme. That said, my sense from listening to him after the game is that he is retiring at the end of the season.

You don't half post some tripe, you have zero emotional attachment to our players so you don't get it,he was happy and looking foward to the cup and derby games,he is going to keep going, pep said he has a contract so is in his plans for next year,i also saw you posted that twice to get a reaction, thats what wums do

So, he's just worked his way back to fitness after a long gruelling 2 years, gets motm in his first two games back and the sense you get is he's retiring?

Why would he bother getting back to peak fitness just to retire within the next month? I think you're miles off the mark with that one.
Fuck me, you can't even see the join in the two games he's played. It's like he's not missed a game.

From him. From his words in the post match. Can't remember the exact words, but it was almost like he was going to say this is his last season them stopped.

That's how it struck me.

That's emotion my dear Dax - something you've yet to experience. :-)
