Vinnie helps everyone.

Hopefully the clean sheet and end to every shot going in will help Bravo's confidence. I'm certain he is capable of more than we have seen between the sticks and we need him to show it because his contribution with the ball is a vital part of the plan.
he could come back next season all singing and dancing, myself i don't think he will. i honestly think he wants away. he'll come out and say he's fine but to his credit he's doing that to keep his price up. we'd get much less for an "unhappy "player.

If he wants away then why would he want to keep his price up? The higher his price the less likely someone would pay, no?

I'm not on here to slate or debate, but when Bravo kicks it long does anyone else get the impression his long kicks are significantly shorter than an average goalkeepers or is it just me?

Id say when he kicks long its drilled low more than other keepers so yes shorter but to midfield beacause any longer and higher would be straight to their centre backs and give away any chance of possesion.

nicked this off facebook . couldn't resist. should keep a clean sheet now. :)

LOL! At least he won't have a problem hitchhiking back to Barca ;)

lol no, he does to be fair takes aim.

Entirely intentional also... in case it's going unotticed we have the smallest attack in Europe, hitting into a congested midfield 'more often than not, allows us to pick up second balls due to our pressing ability...

I'm all for calling someone out on genuine deficiencies of a player, however, this bashing is getting ridiculous now, to make him out to lack power because he kicks short is pathetic... the bloke is trying to adapt yet he is hung out to dry by his own!!

I would be surprised if he didn't want to get away and just put this experience behind him and that is probably the safest option for all concerned. We'll do well though to get a replacement who uses the ball as well as he does.

We have to buy a new first choice keeper though as neither Willy or Bravo has shown the level of shot stopping ability that we need. Personally, not too bothered who remains as back-up.

absolutely. Gunn needs to be looked at too.he could do with a season in the first team squad properly.

Pep has never and will never buy a goalkeeper for his shot stopping ability. But one who first and for all thinks like a player and therefore can use his feet and take positions as one.

Pep wants his team to pressure and therefore limit the number of opportunities for opponents and enhance ours. And that slowly but surely Is evolving. Kompany back will help that proces. A goalkeeper like Bravo or Bravo himself is what we need to realise that.

Bravo himself might indeed decide to go but it won't be because Pep wants him out. And a 4 months old article about Bravo's technique written by someone who doesn't understand what Pep wants from his goalkeeper nor trains with him on a daily basis, is for the ones that don't understand the clubs' manager.
I myself would be eager to see more of Bravo in his second season in the PL with Gunn as back up and a replacement for Willy, but like you say it needs one that fits a Pep team and there are few around. Very few.
