Seasoncard Renewals 2017/18

I'm just under 13k in waiting list

My grandson got his ticket from the waiting list last year when he was 12500 on it having only paid his deposit last March, the reason he got his ticket was because we paid for for a expensive seat in the East Stand; lots of folk on the waiting list won't the cheaper seats aka the South Stand extention, with no sign of the North Stand being extended. lots will remain on the list but won't necessary purchase, you maybe not one of them but thousands are.

I
I feel exactly the same. Sacked Sky and BT when I moved house recently and no longer buy a paper. Don't miss the constant negative coverage. Even today I had Talksport on in the car for about 10 mins pre match listening to Ray Houghton tell me how shit Pep had been this season but what a good season it had been for Jose ????

Didn't get a buzz on the way to Wembley last week, nor get the knots in the stomach on Thursday that I got for 30 odd years attending derbys. I haven'y watched MOTD for 2 years and go to probably 3 or 3 aways a season instead of 15 or 16.

Sad that my passion has dimmed really. Not sure if its modern football, being a 43 year old thats served his time or the current discord between fans and the people running the club. Whatever it is I cant see it coming back.

I'll be renewing but do wonder if I sacked the season ticket how many games I would actually attend if buying on a match by match basis.
I Sacked mine about 8 year ago intending to pick and chose now i go to about 1 a season and watch most games in a bar .i will not pay £30 odd pound for a membership card .dont miss going at all now which is a suprise

I think that proves that the club would rather us 'just about sell out for matches' rather than reduce the price and have a big demand for tickets. Reducing the price would have such a positive effect on atmosphere

Agree.
How can they charge more when we're going backwards

Lol not going backwards mate, we are very much facing a huge club change in style forever but with the money in football now growing every year and all other clubs seemingly freezing their prices then for the richest club to up prices seems extremely greedy and uncalled for imo

Fingers crossed then

The waiting list means sod all unless City lower their prices.

I'd wager that a large proportion of those on the waiting list are looking for STs in the price range of £299-£500.

As prices increase, current ST holders will relocate to the cheaper sections leaving a void that not many people will fill.

To even contemplate raising ticket prices in the current climate says everything we need to know about how City treats its fans, sorry I meant customers.

Your timing was awful.

I am close to calling it a day as well, probably one more season in me, partly in the price, I've moved seats to cover increases to somewhere that's like watching on TV so why pay and travel when I can do it from home.

The excitement of Wembley has gone intact I was disappointed with all the 'experiance' waiting for the presentation against stoke.

I'm off on a ramble again......

this might be my last season as a season card holder, getting to old to go to every game now, and I just do a few away games now and don't think that even if we get to Wembley next year in semi final/ final that I will go, but this year as it could be my last, I'm thinking of going to 2nd tier in one of the joes or one of the others,
which is the best for comfort, food and drink, not the tunnel thou I just want to be sat near halfway line with comfort

I hope people at the club are reading this thread. It is time for the club to offer discounted season cards for people under 30 years of age. The ageing (myself included) fan base are getting tired. We need a whole stand without whingeing oldies.
I am giving it another year.

Totally agree, there is an e-mail address for Feran Sorearno I have found, if the price increase is correct I will post an e-mail to him asking why this is justified and other matters that concern me about the running of the cluband will post a copy on here, let's see if he has the balls to reply.

where has that rumor come from ?

All these people saying they're thinking of not renewing and aren't gonna go anymore. Let's see if they're still saying that when we get to a Champions League final and it's a fucking nightmare to get tickets...

I'm only surprised that we haven't seen more "real fans watch the game in the pub" posts
