The battle for 3rd place

No we're a top 4 club; if we hold our nerve as we should and secure top 4 that would be seven straight years of finishing in the top 4
Also we will spend big as well so I'm not worried
But there is very little between City Arsenal and Utd. The gap to Spurs and Chelsea is significant. Nothing separating the rest

How many times do Sane, Sterling, Navas get to the by line and no one is in the box. Try Delph. Might not be as good on the ball as some midfielders we have but he does have the ability to score goals from midfield. KDB seems to have temporarily lost the knack so Delph is the next best bet

I think Delph with an extended run in the team could surprise a few. He's a decent tackler, has energy, not afraid to shoot, has some fight in him. Would like to see it.

Maybe in the table but in the quality of our play we are much better than Arsenal and united; with some better finishing this year we would be miles ahead of those two

True but we're giving them time to get their 8 men in the box. Our problem is not getting midfielders into the area when we break. This is probably an age thing. Can't get up and down the pitch all match long, which is why Spurs are good at this, so much more energy throughout the entire game and always one (usually Ali) arriving in the area supporting the attackers. I really feel this is an area as important as the full backs/goalie situation that needs to be addressed in the summer. Energetic, goal scoring midfielder.

It is absolutely vital.

You've got to be fit every week to get an extended run in the team and therein lies the problem. Because he never is.

He's too decent to laugh at us. He's a gentleman is old Pellers.

He would be fully entitled to laugh though. He's spanked the arse of Guardiola as a manager in the hardest league in the world.

But he was old, and he wasn't cool and down with the kids so he had to go. He's a far better manager but that doesn't matter these days.
Wibble

Everyone needs to relax, we will finish in the top 4.

Rags play Arsenal, Spurs, Southampton all AWAY, mixed in with Europa league and injuries they'll get a maximum of 4 points from 9, maybe even 2.

Arsenal play rags at home, then both Southampton and Stoke Away- they'll drop points, almost certain they won't get 9 from 9.

Even if we drop points in the next 3 games we'll still be in top 4, 7 out of 9 will be enough, although we really should getting 9 from 9.

Love your optimism, I am a tad more of a realist though, we need Spurs, Arsenal and the Saints to do us some favours

PL want the rags there. A great story being portrayed as revenge for 2012 to knock us out.

we'll make top 4 easy. my beef, and I said so weeks ago, that pep and his fucking about will cost us 3rd. i am more convinced now. yes we have had injuries, yes we have had bent refs, which is why you play your strongest 11 and get points on the board whilst you can. its absolutely criminal what pep has don't this season.

It has not been a good first season that's for sure. Things can only get better as DReam sang!

Let's see what happens here, but looks like Jose has put all his eggs in the Europa League basket.
