Watching the BBC coverage where they are talking about the GE and why people will vote and what they will vote for. The obscene way that this bunch think that voters in their droves read manifestos back to back and make considered decisions based on them is false. Whilst a great many voters do genuinely pick apart manifestos it's not standard surely? Don't most voters just base their vote on soundbytes and traditional voting practices?
The biggest Elephant in the room is that most of the talk encompasses trade and economics it ignores the swathe of voters who voted purely for nationalistic pro British reasons, the underclass (I hate that term but it's used to describe the disenfranchised) have nothing to lose because in reality they don't seem to gain even when the economy is booming.

One of the problems for Labour is that they have very few shadow ministers who are loyal to Corbyn that they can put up for telly/radio interviews. Its basically a choice of her, Thornberry, McDonnell and a handful of others. They're going to be knackered by 8th June.

I understand this but still baffles me the way he is labelled in the popular media and throughout the country. I don't see why he's unelectable but May is cast as Strong & stable as a PM. I've heared down our local folk say that JC is unelectable, when I asked them to expand on their answer and ask what characteristics make a good leader and where does JC fall short I get the response 'He just is'

Theres a few people at my work who have said "I'm going to vote Tory because i think they'll win". Thats theirs sole reason for voting Conservative.
Democaracy doesnt work in my opinion, too many idiots who shouldnt be allowed a vote! There should be a test where only the top 40% are allowed a vote

He is a CND supporter who favours the UK adopting unilateral disarmament, try selling that to a British electorate.
He is for completely untrammelled immigration, another very difficult sell,see current events.
He is for borrowing £500 billion, after recent happenings most folk are not too keen.
He has appointed an IRA, Hamas and Hezbollah lover as deputy, who do you know of the same mindset?
He has appointed Dianne Abbott- judge for yourself if this was a sound choice.
So, one or two reasons why Jezza won't be PM anytime soon.

Borrowing to invest is more of a sensible option than ramping up massive debt with little to show for it with Osbourne. Their is a lot of economists backing the borrowing.

I see the press and indiduals throw around the term 'Unelectable', 'Dangerous' and 'Muppet' about Jeremy Corbyn in particular. Whenever I see him talk on the telly he comes across better than May (who just seems to play #ToryBingo) and that guy for the Lib Dems. So genuine question is why all the hate?

we live in a social media age where hate is all the rage, i think Corbyn comes across as a top bloke in interviews etc

If the nukes start reigning down from the sky we'll never know if the PM is true to their word or not.

As for immigration. I feel that a real left wing leader would want to cap it straight away. Mass immigration just in pure mathematical terms puts a strain on social services and housing. It undermines workers in place because if you won't take the crapper conditions/less wages/Zero Hour contracts then company owners will import people who will do. Any trade union looses enormous power under these conditions. That is why I was under the assumption the communist party of the UK backed Brexit.

I'll read more about McDonnell but given David Camerons views on Nelson Mandela in the 1980's not effecting the judgement of the masses that he could lead.

Listening to 5Live early and Prof John Curtice was on - google him you'll recognise him - he was saying that the current ( at that stage ) Conservative lead over Labour was 11% not the 21% predicted. The larger figure is the landslide predicted but anything down at 11% in the GE translates to a majority of the size she has now..... so despite some suggesting Tory central office can have a break and their campaign team can say job done May knows its all to play for and complacency could yet be her downfall.

Add in the remainers who want a different option to Brexit and this election is hard to call an overall majority on.

There are and have been many things where I just shook my head and wondered what thought processes were taking place between the main protagonist's ears. Robbie Fowler and the penalty v Boro, and Corbyn putting his name forward to lead the party. Robbie and the rest of us had, until he kicked it, the clearest idea that he was gonna score. But Corbyn? Did he really think he could win a general election with the brand of effluence he keeps peddling?

I reckon this will be the biggest landslide ever, the Tories are not great, but there are many former Labour voters myself included who will indeed reluctantly putting a cross next to the Conservatives due to the utterly feeble, un electable bunch of freaks and cretins that make up any alternative. Truly a dismal state of affairs.
