I'd have Cedric over Walker all day.

Intelligent on the ball, quick, can tackle without diving in and reads the game well going forwards and at the back.

Was excellent against Liverpool this afternoon.

I only watched about 30mins of the game. I too thought he was excellent. He's looked impressive a few times.

I think Pep may like the idea of Walker primarily because of his pace and physicality.

Looking at Walker v West Ham on Friday night he looked knackered quite early in the game and Lanzini found so much space in that right hand channel. I'm not sure that Walker is at the level we need. Decent premier league fullback but for how long? And what about stepping up into CL and playing 2 games per week? Pochettino has 'rested' him quite a lot this season starting he could handle 2 games per week.

I can only assume you've never seen him play or you have no eyes.

He's very sharp and is brilliant at getting down the wing to support attacks. He can cross and pass with either foot and has excellent vision.

Maybe but we will likely be so fluid that the position won't really be a fixed position. I'd be astonished if he would sniff his nose at the proposition of playing for Pep on daft money week in week out.

I think Walker is good but whether he will be able to utilise his physicality with us - the way he does with Spurs is open to debate. Whenever we put in a tackle - it seems to be a yellow card. Other teams seem to get more leeway it would seem. I noticed Luiz punch someone on the back of the head last night and as usual got clean away with it.

Walker reminds me too much of Kola and lacks the mobility and attacking threat that I thought we were looking for in our full backs.
