The only other player i've not liked was sami but when on it he was very talentedPretty much the boat I'm in.
It's been a long time since I've actively disliked a player we've signed and they've had to really win me over but if he plays well it will happen.
He won't,he is in for a shockLets see if he gets away with blatantly pushing players now he plays for us.
I am not completely ruling out Alderweireld yet.
If he doesn't get the money he thinks he deserves he will push for a move to a rival in my opinion.
He could arguably play for any team in the world in my opinion.

I agree about Alderweireld, he's been absolute class this season (though you could argue Vertonghen has shaded him) and would walk into most top teams, including our own next to Stones or Vinny.
There's two problems that make it impossible, especially now:
1. Levy won't want to ship two in one window.
2. He's even less likely to let two go to one single title rival.
Walker was always on his way out, little Spuds could do to hide it, now it's confirmed. Alderweireld though, if push comes to shove I could see them renegotiating his contract, even if it resulted in a squad-wide wage restructure it's preferable than letting all your best players go.
Feel almost exactly the same. Walker is an ass and some of his sour grapes comments about City make him difficult to like. But, like Samir, his quality is undeniable and he's proven on exactly the stage we need it.
Disappointing news. Whilst Walker may be a slightly better footballer, his style of play evokes memories of Micah to me. I dread to think how much we are spending on a soon-to-be 27 year old, whose primary strengths are of a physical nature.
Can't say i like him but if he improves us i'll get over it
Thanks for clarifying Fabinho's and Mendy's natural positions.
If we were to offer over £35m to Arsenal for Bellerin, I believe they would be tempted to sell. Despite being 5 years Walker's junior, Bellerin is already of a similar quality to him in my view. They both are explosive going forward but suspect defensively.
Sorry can't agree with you there. Bellerin is terribly overrated and think most people are beginning to see it.
I still don't like Walker's personality

With that new stadium though is it financially viable to do so?
Once one player gets a significant raise the rest will follow.
The only way I see us getting Alderweireld is if we offered him an unrefusable offer which resulted in him forcing through a move.
How come?
I wasn't too eager for him at first for footballing reasons but I've seen so many people say this. I'm aware that he's apparently said something shitty about us (can't find specifically what, though) and I'm wondering if that's the underlying issue or if there's anything more to it.
If we pay £35 mil think we have done oK, Bellerin would be at least £50mil,think hell end up at Barcelona anyway. But I agree with others Walker has been the better player this season.I must confess that I haven't been paying particularly close attention to other teams this season, so my opinion was predominately based on his glowing reputation from last season.
I know I will be denounced for caring about how much we pay for players, but I will be immensely disappointed if we are paying Spurs over £35m for Walker. He's simply not that good.
