Pablo Zabaleta

"My favourite moments were when we beat Manchester United in the semi-final at Wembley and the first Premier League we won with Sergio Aguero's goal. The fans had waited so long and we did it in a City way."

BIG shout to the club for doing the send off properly

for all the cringeworthy shite they normally come out with, the tributes to Zaba were perfect

We will never see the likes of this man again, an absolute warrior.

It's been an honour, Pablo.
Once a blue, always a blue
Also BIG SHOUT to us the loyal city fans who stayed and made ZABBA'S send off special.
Again we come together as one and I for one am PROUD TO BE BLUE.
THE CITY IS OURS.
WE'RE THE PRIDE OF MANCHESTER.
C.T.I.D.

The Club and The Fans did us proud last night, one of the classiest send offs in recent football history and so so well deserved, shouldn't have cut so many onions last night!

Incidentally when did we last give a player a send off like that ?

The only other player I can ever remember getting any type of send off, apart from testimonials, was Frank Lampard... but that was nowhere on last nights scale as you'd expect

When Francis Rossi appeared on the big screen, it teetered on the edge of cheesiness. But fortunately, it fell back on the right side of the line. And fair do's to Sky for covering the tribute. Come back as often as you can Zab.

Fuck your platinum season cards I want one of those Silver season ticket forever cards what they give Zab last night.
PS, Pablo if your reading I will mind it for you and promise to meet you at the ground for any games you choose to attend.
Thanks for everything Sir Pablo.

It was class and I hate that he won't be there next season.

I hope he's back in some capacity in a few years.

Great send off last night, what a fantastic player for this club, kissed the badge and meant it, City through and through and i just hope he ends back up at City in some capacity in the future.

Sorely missed.

I thought the season ticket for life was the most powerful thing. They can give him the metaphorical key to the club, BUT giving him a season ticket for life was very symbolic and classy. Until they write to him to tell him they're building a glass staircase and he's got to move to row 1 on the bottom tier behind the corner flag!

Yeah that was a bit random. Probably 90% of the ground (maybe even Zabba) didn't have a clue who it was

An emotional evening.

Nights like that set City, and supporting City, apart from everyone else IMO, you can win all the silverware you want, but in an age where players come and go at will, the reception Zabba got was just perfection, certainly a night I won't forget in a long long time.

As an aside, I hope tonight helped Pep 'get' the club a little more - and why its so different, and so special to all of us. If he ends up half as invested as Zabba, we could have some really special times up ahead.

Oh how I will miss Zaba, our warrior and one of a very few that is allowed to kiss the badge. I hope he is a succes at his next club only to come back asap and settle at our club forever.

Being as his favourite band is Status Quo and he's met him a few times, I'll think he knows who he is.

Fair do's... I didn't know that it was his favourite band or if he'd sung 1 status quo song once after a trophy win. I stand by the 90% of the ground comment though. On the whole though, the club did him proud. Zabba finally lost it as he left the pitch for the final time. Legend
