He also needs to be more of a goal threat. There are signs and have been for quite some time that in the penalty box he's struggling to create space for himself.
WBA only let one in v Chelsea on Friday.
Only shipped one v Liverpool and beat arsenal 3-1 and 0-0 at the swamp. But you don't rate them?

Marvin the font of all knowledge when it comes to football :) WBA didnt have a player under 6'2" and all big units sitting behind the ball. Sometimes you have to appreciate there is more to the game than scoring. His play last night was superb and helped bring others in to the game, as you mention Sane he was set up beautifully in the 1st half by Sergio and should have buried it
That's a bit unfair. I was just reacting to your comment. I thought he did well up to a point. His job is to score goals and he didn't. City have really struggled all season to turn possession into goals. It's one of the defining features of our season. The players that inflicted damage and cut the WBA defence were Sane and Jesus.

I also fail to see the height relevance. If anything, a player with low centre of gravity like Kun should relish playing against the big guys

They wasn't though was they. The player who cut open the WBA defence was Sergio. Jesus scored a tap in after great work by Sergio and Kev. He also should have put Sergio in for the goal that for some reason you think he needed to have played well. Sane was booked for diving, hit two corners out of play for goalkicks and didn't really do anything that warrants special mention. He wasn't poor, far from it, but for you to have watched that game and come to the conclusion that Sane and Jesus cut through their defence and Sergio didn't then it's fair to say you watched a completely different game to the rest of the world.

So happy with his performance last night. I always try and look at things from another point of view, but it utterly baffles me how any City fan can feel anything other than unconditional love for this guy. He's top drawer and since he arrived has never once indicated anything other than he unequivocally wants to play for this club throughout his peak years. That is something that some posters conspicuously fail to respect.
I am sure you are capable of loving and finding fault. Maybe one follows the other.

Yes, but in this case you're finding fault that doesn't exist. Of all the games this season you could level the accusation he wasn't being a team player, last night wasn't it.

Sergio and Yaya are going nowhere. There certainly was nothing in their demeanour post match to suggest it was their last ever time on the Etihad pitch

Hand on heart i had my doubts as to whether he would adapt his game for Pep and the system but by Christ i have been made to look a little foolish in thinking that way.

Slowly but surely he had upped his work rate, added that defensive appetite to his game and begun to play much more for the team and last night he was utterly fantastic for me.

He might not score as many playing this way but the team sure as hell benefits and it makes it possible for us to pay both him and Jesus together which will frighten the life out of any defence.

He played with a huge smile on his face last night and it was so good to see and watch.

He's 1 goal away from the highest scoring season of his career.

Against a team like West Brom who pack the box, you never get space easily, and the fact that Aguero used his presence and movement to create space for others which lead to goals is just as important to creating space for himself.

Stop trying to be contrarian/Wumming for the sake of it.

I think you're being a bit harsh here. I agree he's struggled at times this season but I don't think his performance last night is the one to be picking at. With regards to space, you might think he's struggled to create it for himself but it was Aguero that created all of the space for Toure and then set him up with the goal. It was a really smart move and as long as the ball ends up in the net I think the manager will value his contribution to it whether he finished the move off or not.

I though he's was on form, shame it was for the shop window. My thoughts anyhow.
Thoughts? Not allowed. I don't know why people post comments, if they only want people to agree with them. Where does that get anyone? You throw something out there, you see what comes back and you see what you think. Does it make you change your mind, or does it reaffirm what you thought.

Depends if you spew shite that lots disagree with.

Pep certainly wouldn't. He was effusive in praise for Kun's performance on the pitch at full time.

Aguero's backheel to De Bruyne to set up Jesus's (tap in) goal was fantastic. He also played a neat one two for Yaya's goal. To have a future at city Aguero has needs to show he can make a significant contribution outside of the 6 yard box and he did that last night.
Also showed a world class ability to nick opponents' drinks.

It's weird how people say what Marvin has just said. As though opinions shouldn't be challenged or mocked when so obviously nonesense.
