Obviously a good player, but... has he got the pace required to track back counter attacking opponents?
He's got decent pace, that won't be a problem.

On last seasons showing he has to be, and he's only 23 so you can't expect him to be at his peak yet. I suspect it'll be like having a 13/14 season Dinho back in the side, and he can learn from the man himself. How good is he? Im not sure he is better than Dinho

He can play at RB very well
How good is his technical ability on the ball and his passing? No he can't. And he don't enjoy it anymore.
Tho, that can be your number 1 argument for sign him. He want to play the world cup more than anything, and since he's not call as a midfielder (don't ask me why, he is one of the best CDM in europe), he want to give a try at RB once again to play the world cup.
Tho, you'll be dissapointed if you look for a top RB.
Considerably better than the Fernandinho we've seen this year.
Also a much better passer and much more naturally suited to the hybrid RB/Midfield role Ferna has been playing.

Most likely Yaya's replacement and starting DM over Dihno. Not my first choice, but a good player. Younger, taller, more physical version of Dihno.Fernando's replacement & backup rb rather than first choice rb ?
Haha. Silva misses out United when talking about the top PL teams. Nice one Dave.Seems to be a good fit for Pep's description of a team "physically strong with fast and good headers and still playing the way he wants"

Wait! Is Walker a Mendez player? And if not, who is the 2nd player you are talking about.Which we can 100% agree on, a fantastic addition if it can be finalised, hopefully before the red feks fluke the europa next week...
There was 3 mendez players that was being mooted, to me this looks like two out of three sewn up, a clean sweep and fuck me, happy days!
NiceSorry, imo, Ederson
They do kinda look alike :pAwesome,in some respects,i'm seeing a future Kompany with this lad.
Awesome passing skill, and good at keepin the ball vs one, two or three players.
He like to go between the two CBs to be the first player for build-up when he's CDM. He's accurate, strong, and really strong on 1 on 1 defensivly. He's a bad RB mainly cause he got trouble on defending someone who past him without foul trouble, or, when he play RB, on switches.
Tho, he worth every € you'll put on him.
Never injured. Doctors told that his body is realy singular, he can repeat a lot of efforts (?) without being injured, and recover faster than the average.
On his pace: He's not a fast player on the true term, but does hudge steps. So he can take everyone on the first meters.
He's the perfect player for Pep. I'm pretty sure he will really go HAM for Fabinho.
Breaking the lines :
Passes :
He's the first one here :
Overall :
As a right back :
And of course : 18 penalty made on 19 attempts.

Bakayoko talking about Fabinho. Interview made today : He's talking at the past.
It's probably 95% done.
