Well he's being honest there. Trouble is, it's not 'big' business that drives the economy in this country it's those very same small businesses that will get fucked over by these policies.

In fairness he did say that they were looking at subsidy and tax breaks for small businesses hard pressed by those rises so yep he acknowledged it but did say that in doing so he was looking at ways to help.

It was really annoying because the minimum wage policy hasn't been discussed much and it got about 10 seconds before they ran out of time. He mentioned subsidies for small business. Anyone know how much these would cost? And have they been included in the manifesto

That's the first time I've heard anything about subsidies for small businesses (unless I've missed something) so it obviously hasn't been costed.

What will piss me off even more is when the Tories win, it will be declared as the peolle having spoken, without the obvious qualification that the choices on offer were utterly pitiful. It's a truly sorry state of affairs.
