Bonucci? A 30 year old who couldn't excel in the Italian league this year? Certainly not!
 
60m is a piss take. Christ.

He's good but actually baffles me how we didn't spot his talent when we landed Denayer to Celtic. Surely we had scouts watching him on a weekly frigging basis.

This is my main gripe. We wait for a player to have a break out year elsewhere and then pay triple.

60m boils my piss to be honest. Southampton are hardly in a position of power. Hope to god that price is a massive exaggeration.
 
It's a dead cert he's coming to us, the tell tail signs are there in the media.

He will cost nearly 70m and his wages will be 200k a week

If he was going to the media darlings it would be 30m plus add ons, 100k per week plus bonuses

John stones cost us £47m, Southampton have every right to ask for £60m.
 
It's a crazy amount but there is no point in whinging about it. We need competition for places and quality cover.

Van dyke will work out, I'm sure. I don't give a toss about how much we spend. Without sounding arrogant, if we keep paying these prices for players, every other team is going to priced out for players. The market was already inflated before we got involved.
 
I said at the time when Southampton bought him why the f*ck we were not in for him. It was obvious he had everything and he proved it by hitting the ground running in PL ... Its amazing we just don't seem to have the judgement and foresight of some other clubs to pick these players up at the right time for much cheaper fees!

Ffs calm down. The club have the money. We need to buy proven performers to go with young potential.
Some of you lot moan whatever the club do.
