Seriously, how common is it for chief officers (fire service as well) to admit they're under-resourced when they get bonuses for managing being under-resourced (by cutting staff numbers)? May will continue with her successful policies she implemented and pursued as Home Secretary for 6 years and for a year as PM. Slashing Police numbers continuing with the flawed Prevent strategy which moved the onus on the public reporting suspicious activities t save Police time and money gathering their own intelligence - she has failed completely to keep the country and its citizens safe from harm
Plus in fairness to Khan - May has had a lot longer in post and in a more elevated post to enable changes than he has had.
Torys suspend campaigning whilst May blatantly electioneering on the issue that will determine a lot of votes.
