Agree and with him having 5 years left on his contract Southampton can play hard ball to they get the fee they want.

Well if Liverpool think they can get him on the cheap I'm sure we will be back in for him if Southampton bottle it.

When I say cheap I mean below Southamptons asking price. I'm sure Liverpool would be happy to break their transfer record and go to £40/45m but Southampton by all accounts want £60m. I see £50m + add ons

I'm convinced all the rumours are linked with Skybet.....Sky have pushed it that it's virtually nailed on,as they did with the Griezmann rumours to the rags and many others......how many have lumped on?.....how much will Skybet make?

Could be way off with that post,dunno.....but someone posted that VVD was at 4/7 yesterday to go to the Dippers....you got a spare 7k....easy money.
Maybe a spare 14k?..easier........if you believe "Sky sources".

Hope Southampton are utter bastards to Liverpool like Liverpool were to us in our pursuit of Sterling. Make them pay £54m plus £5m in add ons.
 
Makes me laugh that when we were favourites it was all about "£70mil", soon as we bow out and leave the dippers to it everything gets done to reduce the fee - we'd be getting slaughtered if it was us who'd done the tapping up.
 
I reckon Liverpool will still get him despite the tapping up allegations. I think Saints have had enough of being raided by Liverpool for their best players - sometimes in an allegedly underhanded way - and this is the final straw, particularly as it looks like they've been in his ear for months about moving. Pretty sure Lallana threatened to go on strike if he didn't get his move to Anfield the other year. Hopefully Saints rinse them - they let Mane go far too cheaply IMO.
