We haven't signed either yet.Not sure Walker will like that. I suspect it will be Alves when walker needs a rest.

Not those exact words:-You got a link to that or did you make it up?
No he didn't he said it a couple of year ago, fucking snide.
Tbf, if you read the article and not the sensationalised headlines, its not much wrong in what he says.

Perfect for a pep perfect for a pep team perfect for a pep perfect for a pep teamI think, I'm in some sort of parallel universe here, where we get rid of one ageing full back and replace him with another!!
I'd rather forget thanksI'n finding it hard to believe anyone is actually against this signing?!
He clearly won't be first choice but having the best right back in the modern era who has proven he is still one of the best in the World as a rotation option doesn't appeal to people?! Do me a faour and remember where we came from
not really, our modern succes is built on us spashing the cash. No one can argue against that. Barcelona, love or hate em, still does things the Johan Cruyff way. Of course we got history, but I dont see anything in Alves comments that ignores that. Just that City and Barca are differently built clubs. No it's not. I can easily disagree with this bit:
"They are a modern football club built on big transfer fees – but at Barcelona there is a history and class that dates back a long way."
That is sheer ignorance but I won't hold his lack of knowledge against him.
What are the odds this thread hitting 1000 pages?
Close the fucking thread nowAbout as high as @ballinio being positive about something City related.
