It's Quiet - a new dawn

Maybe City can use two full backs of NAC Breda when they don't have any when the league starts......

What, you telling me that Guardiola doesn't sort out contracts, organise pay, coach players, make travel arrangements, wash the kits and make the tea. Well what is he being paid for ballinio, or would you rather not list them.
He is a lazy fecker that Pep

Given Jose is bitching via his mouthpiece and Conte still not happy with the support he is being given at Chelsea I'll take comfort in Pep looking and sounding very relaxed. If he is chilled I am chilled.

On the other hand if in a months time Pep is brandishing golf clubs and threatening to shove them where the sun don't shine and Tiki's done a runner then I think it will be time to be concerned.

I still think we want to shift some out. I assume we have a budget for this shit, and if Levy and Monaco are asking for (say) £10M more for each of Walker and Mendy, and Sanchez may be £50M and may be nothing, then the overall plan/budget is probably very interwoven. Would assume that Alves is a given, Walker and Mendy being negotiated (and may be easier if we generate some further sales). Sanchez is dependent on him or Arsenal making a move. I think Bertrand may be a back up if Mendy not secured. I assume if money were no object we would have bagged walker and Mendy by now?

Is this a quiet before the storm?

Absolutely nothing going on, no news for 3 days now, the quietest period by far since the season ended.

Im sensing a big behind the scenes thing going down right now, the media team have obviously been briefed to build the excitement on social outlets - with the "dream debut' features, and the, 'gundogan excited by new signings interview' and the "gallery of classic city signings" - which are all pointing towards, and leading perfectly into a social campaign, for one or more key signings to arrive soon.

Well they just did one about players playing for us on two different spells. So clearly were bringing back Danny Tiatto (or a CB who can't sit on planes without hurting himself)

The MEN have put up their possible team(s) for us next season...

looks like two alright teams...can't stop smiling!
As nice as they look, I can't imagine Kolarov play LB unless we have several injuries, Kevin certainly won't be playing the pivot, and I think it's been said that we aren't in for Bonucci (although I could be wrong). I think they actually put all of our pivot playing midfielders on the second list haha.

Of the five first-team players who we had to loan out last season (Denayer, Mangala, Nasri, Bony, Hart) we need to try and shift at least three of them this summer. Mangala looks like he'll be the easiest to flog.
He had a fantastic season at Valencia, if they had any money he'd have been bought for sure.

There is A Clause in the loan deal of Ruben Sobrino to Alaves That allows for Alaves Buying Sobrino for 2 Million euro
Alaves Will activate this Clause .
