Can't beat a bit of morning projection. So no answer to better manager, better squad ... no answer to selling your best player to a rival ... no none of that. Ok good. So long as we're clear that you've got no answer to which club out of you and Spurs represents a better sporting project for a player like Lemar. Which is where this began. Haha.

Personally think Arsenal would be the more likely destination for him. I would say they are a higher profile team and have certainly had more success than Spurs in recent years despite their failings and are probably in a position to offer better wages.

Spurs may have the stronger team and better manager at the present time but they also have a history of selling their better players (Bale, Modric) when the right offer comes in and unless they start upping their wages and winning trophies, then it's hard to see their manager and top players staying around that much longer.

I mean, it's entirely possible that they are just reminiscing on the time they signed a very good player with a few of his good goals.
Regardless if he's leaving or not, he is will an arsenal player and their media will treat him as such.

Let's wait a little while before we let the 'Bluemoon pendulum of extremes' swing back to 'despondency'. Can we?

Sanchez is still an Arsenal player (for now) you can't be surprised by them doing PR piece on him

I actually have never said that Lemar was more likely to go to Spur than Arsenal. I was just pointing out to our friend who seemed to think that it was impossible because Arsenal have got more money than Spurs/pay bigger wages (oh the fucking ironing) - that if Lemar moves on a sporting basis right now Spurs represent a better sporting project than Arsenal. This is when he started parroting about the trophies they've won. :)

The only projects players want are money and trophies.

Ok. I certainly agree that at the present moment Spurs look to have the better sporting project but I suspect a player would look at their prospects over the next few seasons, not just the coming one. I personally think Arsenal will end up finishing above Spurs and winning more than them more often than not during the next 5 years.

At the end of the day, it is a job for them and getting the highest salary possible will also be an important consideration.

I don't see why you'd think that, especially considering the current malaise which has engulfed Arsenal and the new two year deal Wenger's signed.

With all this ridiculing of Arsenal going on I thought a bit of humility might be in order. While we finished 15 points behind Chelsea we were only 3 points in front of the gooners. Despite us having a far better squad.
Haha. How unlike you.

I understand that supporters wear whatever coloured tinted spectacles they own but suggesting that Sánchez should come to us because we are so much better than Arsenal in every way is not reflected in the respective points tally.

Now he's much more expansive and plays everywhere. I can't see Pep allowing him such freedom. He'll want a very disciplined where the ball does the movement not the player.
Don't agree in the slightest. Pep allows the players license in the last 1/3rd and always has.

Just can't see the manager and some of the better players sticking around much longer. The money is a lot less than they'd get elsewhere and they could probably find clubs where they'd have more chance of winning trophies. I can't see their model being able to keep/attract better players long-term.
