Arsenal may be adamant but what if Sanchez tells the club that he absolutely doesn't see his future at Arsenal anymore and wants to leave? Do Arsenal keep an unhappy player?

If we put £60m on the table - which I think at the very least he will cost - would the Arsenal board see that as too much to turn down for a player that wants to leave?
 
It's ok asking what can Arsenal do if Sanchez wants the move the real answer is they have him tied to a contract

It might only be for a year and they will more than likely not want to lose money on him by making him stay

But he is contracted to play football for Arsenal

'Arsene Wenger denies Alexis Sanchez has told him he wants to leave Arsenal'


Bit of a nothing story because he obviously hasn't told him he wants to stay, otherwise Wenger would have said that.
 
This isn't going to be done anytime soon (If at all). Arsenal might be serious this time (about not letting him go). Not sure Sanchez is worth all the trouble. If Pep really wants another top class forward. Then get Dembele from Dortmund.

Plus his agent could well have told Wenger he wants to leave - playing with words maybe ?
 
lol Wenger with his planted question about selling to a rival, repeated also no less. He was as confident as a cat in a kennel. His body language and response screamed 'Sanchez has already gone mate'

Perhaps you will be able to answer this question but as a respected iITK how is your contact able to give any information about when sensitive negotiations are likely to conclude.
I understand he or she gives info in good faith but even if they happen to be the actual negotiator surely they have absolutely no idea when agreement is likely to be reached.
